The University of Salerno will be hosting the 30th Summer Universiade fencing comptetions at Baronissi and Fisciano campuses.

The project for the integrations of sports facilities has included:

• the redevelopment and extension of the existing sports hall “PalaUnisa A“;
• the construction of two new sports halls, “PalaUnisa B” and “PalaUnisa C”;
• the modernizations of  the existing “Pilotis” gym;
• the construction of the new Bus Terminal in Baronissi campus;
• the setting up at the university residences, managed by ASIDURC (Regional Agency for the right to university study – Campania Region) of the Athletes’ Village, where the 2019 Universiade athletes, staff and managers will stay.

The Rector delegates, with the task of supporting the organization of the event at the University of Salerno, are:

• Nicola Maffulli – Health sector of “Napoli 2019 -30th Summer Universiade” for the University of Salerno
