PARKING
The University has free car parks. The Fisciano campus features 3853 parking spaces, whereas Baronissi has 477.
BUS TERMINAL – UNIVERSITY SHUTTLE
The new bus terminal is equipped with twelve stalls divided by routes and geographical areas of destination/origin of the carriers. Each of the stalls is identified by a color and is covered by a metal platform roof. To facilitate mobility within the Fisciano campus and to connect the two University campuses, a free shuttle service is available.
SPORT FACILITIES
Sport facilities on Campus are run by CUS (Salerno University Sport Center), which organizes a number of activities at the Fisciano and Baronissi campuses.
Fisciano features:
- an indoor swimming pool;
- two five-a-side football fields with astroturf;
- a concrete tennis court;
- a multi-purpose field with astroturf;
- a free-climbing wall;
- a fitness room within the university residences;
- a bicycle lane which can also be used for jogging (during opening hours, bicycles provided by CUS).
Baronissi features:
- a Sports Hall (multipurpose gym with a 1200 square meter area) for basketball, volleyball, table tennis, rowing, walking, GAG &Tone, step, total body, total fit, aerobody;
- gyms, called Pilotis, with 5 rooms equipped for bodybuilding, light aerobics, modern dance, ballet, hip hop, Salsa and Merengue, spinning, pilates, tas, taiji quan, aikido, total step, street stall, kundalini yoga, life pump, aero-boxing, fit-boxing, zumba, Macumba, aesthetic gymnastics, functional fit, freedance;
- a multi-purpose concrete field;
- a multi-purpose field with astroturf.
Facilities can be used by students,teachers and staff.
HELIPORT
Located inside the Fisciano campus, the heliport is an area designed for the take-off and landing of helicopters. It is equipped with facilities for water recovery and supply for aircraft operating in the neighboring areas. During the summer, the heliport hosts the regional fire service.
CONNECTIONS TO CAMPUS
A bus service provides regular connections between the University of Salerno and the main junctions in the area. Several bus lines provide direct connections with the towns in the province of Salerno and the neighboring area. Students may benefit from reduced fares.

By Car
- From Naples: A3 motorway (Napoli-Salerno-Reggio Calabria); continue towards the south and take the freeway Salerno-Avellino; continue towards Avellino and exit at University, at the roundabout turn right and continue to the right.
- From Naples: Motorway A16 (Napoli-Bari); from barrier _ East Naples merge onto A30 (Caserta-Salerno), direction Salerno, and go up the ramp to Avellino. Shortly after entering on the motorway Salerno-Avellino, exit at Fisciano-Mercato San Severino; at the end of the exit go to the right.
- From the East (Bari): Motorway A16 (Bari-Napoli); exit Avellino East and take the freeway Avellino Square-Salerno; exit at Fisciano-Mercato San Severino; at the end of the exit go to the right.
- From the South (Reggio Calabria): Motorway A3 (Salerno-Reggio Calabria-Naples); before Salerno take the fork for the A1 and A16 motorways, and, continuing in the direction Avellino, exit at University, at the roundabout turn right and continue to the right.
By Train
- From Salerno station: in front the station courier CSTP for Fisciano University or Taxi
- From Naples Central Station to station Salerno:
- autolinee SITA: Via Ferraris, where is the INPS, at 300 meters from Garibaldi Square (Central Station).

- Capodichino Airport (Naples):
- From the airport: SITA for Fisciano University (9:30, 13:30 and 19:30) and 16:00 for Salerno center (Place de la Concorde in front of the train station)
- From the airport: bus Alibus (direct line of the Neapolitan Mobility connecting the airport to the railway station in Garibaldi Square. Periodicity average in minutes: 20 weekdays, Saturday 20, festive 20. Tickets can be purchased on board).
