The medals of the third day dedicated to fencing
An Italian Saturday, with four blue medals, at the PalaUnisa on the Baronissi campus, on the third day dedicated to fencing at the Summer Universiade Napoli2019.
Double medal for Italy in the men’s foil with Damiano Rosatelli’s gold and Guillaume Bianchi’s silver, while in the women’s saber, there were Lucia Lucarini’s silver and Michela Battiston’s bronze.
The men’s individual foil final was an Italian affair: Damiano Rosatelli, a student of political science at the UniCusano, overcame his companion Guillaume Bianchi 15-10, enrolled at the Faculty of Economics of La Sapienza in Rome.
In the second bout of the day, the women’s saber, there was the silver medal of Lucia Lucarini, beat in the final by the French fencer Balzar, the black beast of all the Italians, who had already beaten Michela Battiston to the third step of the podium.
